If you’ve got a few extra days of vacation this year, join us in Andalucia, Spain from Oct. 17-24, 2015 for a walking and riding week to remember.

Spain’s southern region, Andalucia, is highly regarded as a wonderful destination for outdoor and history enthusiasts. The people are charming and friendly, the villages are immaculate bordering on pristine and the scenery is breathtaking. If you have some vacation time left this year, or if you have a friend with whom you enjoy traveling but they aren’t an avid equestrian, this may be a perfect fit for a fun vacation!

The itinerary for the week includes 4 days of hiking (not obligatory) and 2 free days for folks to relax or go riding with a local German run outfitter (not included). This area is as fun on foot as it is on horseback and for those that opted for riding on the two free days, rides would be tailored to the group ability – but make no mistake – these sure footed and able bodied horses will take you up into the Sierra Nevada Mountains which provide panoramic views over the village and area.

The week includes the following:

  • 7 nights accommodation in the Balcon Hotel – all rooms have a private balcony
  • 7 Breakfasts (continental), 2 dinners (night of arrival and eve of departure)
  • 4 guided walks in the Alpujarras Mountains (includes a pack lunch)
  • Guiding Services
  • All local transfers
  • Airport transfers at pre set times
  • All local taxes

Your base for the week is the quintessential town of Competa – have a look – it beckons you at every turn.

The nearest airport is Malaga, which is an easy connection from Madrid. The trip begins at 12:00PM on Oct. 17th, so if you can join us, be sure to plan your flights accordingly.

Rate: $870.00 USD in a shared room (Single Supplement: $150.00 USD)
